Rata Blanca is an Argentine metal rock band founded in Buenos Aires in 1987 by Walter Giardino and currently composed of said guitarist, Adrián Barilari (vocals), Guillermo Sánchez (bass), Danilo Moschen (keyboards) and Fernando Scarcella (drums). It is considered the most important rock / metal band in Spanish, being also the most internationally recognized by the Anglo world.
Until today the band has been consecrated with 12 gold records and 10 platinum, 3 double platinum making them the most successful Argentine hard rock band over time. Their second album entitled "Magos, Espadas y Rosas" has managed to sell more than 5 million copies worldwide, which opened the borders to the band consecrating it not only nationally but also internationally.
“Tormenta Eléctrica” shows the maturity of a band that, after a 28-year career, continues with the same motivation and passion for music as in its glorious beginnings. The fusion of their music made them known throughout the world, highlighting the unique combination of different music such as rock, classical music and native music from Argentina.
The album was recorded at Brotheryn Studios, Ojal, California, United States by technicians Dave Jenkins and Jason Mariani; mixed in the Roma Phonic (B) studio, Buenos Aires, Argentina between the months of April and June 2015.
