Light The Torch

Since emerging in 2018, Light The Torch have grown stronger in lockstep together as a band and as friends. Through this growth, the Los Angeles trio—Howard Jones [vocals], Francesco Artusato [guitar], and Ryan Wombacher [bass]—only enhanced their signature sound. Upheld by head-spinning seven-string virtuosity and skyscraping melodies, the group crafted twelve no-nonsense anthems on their 2021 second full-length album, You Will Be The Death of Me [Nuclear Blast].

The group shot out of the gate as a contender on their full-length debut, Revival. It bowed at #4 on the Billboard US Independent Albums Chart and at #10 on the Hard Rock Albums Chart in addition to receiving acclaim from Revolver, Outburn, and many more. “Calm Before the Storm” racked up a staggering 14.5 million Spotify streams, while “The Safety of Disbelief” remains one of SiriusXM Octane’s all-time most requested songs. They toured North America and Europe with the likes of Trivium, Avatar, In Flames, Ice Nine Kills, Killswitch Engage and August Burns Red to name a few.

The guys returned to Sparrow Sound in Glendale, CA in late 2019 to once again work with the production team of Josh Gilbert and Joseph McQueen [Bullet for My Valentine, As I Lay Dying, Suicide Silence].  This time around, they also welcomed Whitechapel’s Alex Rudinger on drums.

In the end, the bond between Light The Torch burns brighter than ever in the music as they deliver a definitive statement with You Will Be The Death Of Me.
OTEP

Originally discovered by Jack and Sharon Osbourne in Los Angeles, she was offered to play Ozzfest as an unsigned band and was the first female fronted band to play the touring festival. She signed with legendary label Capitol Records, without a demo, after only 5 live shows, and strictly on the power of her live performance, OTEP has gone on to record 6 studio albums, an EP, and a live album.

Nominated by GLAAD for Outstanding Artist Award alongside Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert, she won MTV’s prestigious BEST VIDEO for Music With A Message Award. Singer, writer, activist, she spoke at the Democratic National Convention in 2008 on behalf of ROCK THE VOTE. A celebrated spoken word artist, she appeared on HBO’s DEF POETRY twice, recorded an unreleased poetry album and authored three books of poetry. She’s also authored a book of short stories titled MOVIES IN MY HEAD and produced and directed an audiobook of one of the stories titled PINEBOX JAKE. Utilizing her incredibly dynamic vocal range she’s also a successful Voice Over Artist appearing in many projects such as the award winning video game THE LAST OF US and in feature films including THE HOBBIT: The Battle Of The Five Armies. Her live performance alongside her very talented musicians has been described as a “complete mutiny of the senses”. Combining spoken word with a cathartic range of emotional screams and soft melodies over an equally bedlamite alchemy of masterful music. When asked about her future in art she’s said:

“Music and writing are my religion, my lovers, my nemesis, my medicine and my weapon. I will continue to follow my muses, wherever they lead, but always with great affection and respect for our fans, my REAL ONES, The OTEP NATION.”
